The story of Job in the Bible has always been one of inspiration. Job lost it all . . . his riches, his livelihood, his children . . . and still he praised God. Even though Job sometimes questioned God's ways, he never questioned God's presence. This musical is set in modern day, but the elements and characters in the story are very true to the scriptual account. It's a lot of fun at times . . . a singing turkey, no less . . . but it is a powerful story. With as many as 32 characters (you can perform it with less, with doubling) and a chorus, this can be a grand production but on a limited budget.
